A journey well-begun is well done already. For us the Reservation desk at Chennai and the Reception at the Country club Jade resort,Chennai were both competently courteous and efficient; they did per-processing and in-processing so well that no sooner we entered the premises than we occupied the rooms. Spacious yet cozily compact and thoughtfully furnished, the rooms were a treat to the eye and a comfort to stay. Cuisine was among the best , a gourmet, have enjoyed around the country. The bearers and servers did their job silently and politely which added to the ambiance. The play-ground was large enough not to be crowded. The beach is almost private with no stragglers or vagabonds around, letting us, particularly the grown-up children of ours, enjoy free outing.
In all we had a memorable stay this year, which in fact was our second time.
